Torcs (short for The Open Racing Car Simulation) is a free computer game for various systems. It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac. I discovered it in 2005 when I was looking for a car racing game with a track editor. That's what I always wanted, to create my own tracks for a good game. Actually, that was what I did at school and uni, but then only with pencil and paper.
My wife insisted to put my tracks online, so here you are! Currently (July 2006) I have ten tracks, of which I will publish the first three here now.
06 Aug: Added Matt-4 and Matt-5
You can get Torcs at www.torcs.org. See Andrew Sumner's page for excellent tracks and cars (much better than mine).
This is a series of short and narrow tracks. They are all under two kilometers, width being nine meters. Due to the shortness, they only have 12 (some 18) pits. Overtaking is the big problem on each of these tracks.
